South Shields Surf School
At South Shields Surf School we provide Surf and Stand Up Paddle Board lessons for kids and adults, as well as board and wetsuit hire down at Sandhaven Beach in South Shields.Our lessons cater for all abilities. If you have never surfed before we can get you riding your first waves and standing up, or if you have surfed before we can help improve your technique. Regular public kids and adult lessons for £15 per person. We’re running surf mentor projects to improve the wellbeing of people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Were working with Beach Access North East to help provide access to beach access wheelchairs. Regular rock pooling sessions for £5 per person. Kids surf courses on school holidays – 10-2 Monday to Wednesday working through Surfing England Junior Surf Scheme - £80. Reinvesting our profits to make surfing more accessible.
